The BWT Starter Set Bestmax 2XL is the "big brother" of the XL variant and is one of the best-selling filters for gastronomy and ambitious home baristas.
Here's everything you need to know about the set:
1 Bestmax 2XL filter cartridge
1 BWT Besthead Flex filter head: Universal connection with 3/8" male thread and integrated bypass setting.
1 wall mount: For stable installation of the filter system.
The filter's capacity strongly depends on the hardness of your tap water (carbonate hardness).
Capacity approx. 12000 to 14400 liters (at 10° dKH and standard bypass)
Filtration stages 5 (incl. activated carbon fleece against chlorine & off-flavors)
Max. operating pressure 2 – 8 bar
Water temperature 4 – 30 °C

Installation position Horizontal or vertical possible
Economical: Perfect if you use less than 12000-14400 liters of water for coffee or tea and steam per year. Since the filter should be replaced after 12 months for hygienic reasons anyway, a larger cartridge makes no sense with low consumption.
