Description
Brita filter head 0-70% freely adjustable
The BRITA 0–70% filter head is a special connection head for BRITA commercial water filtration systems (e.g., PURITY C-series) that allows the blended water (bypass) ratio to be set to a fixed value between 0% and 70%. The bypass regulates the proportion of unfiltered raw water that is mixed with the filtered water – an important factor, for example, when optimizing water for coffee machines, combi steamers, or dishwashers.
Here is a technically precise description:
BRITA Filter Head 0–70% – Technical Details and Features

Function of the bypass valve (0–70%)
The bypass allows for the targeted remineralization or partial desalination of the water:
With 0% bypass, 100% of the water is filtered, ideal for very hard water.
With a higher bypass, a defined proportion of raw water is added – this is useful if complete softening is not desired (e.g. for optimal coffee taste).
The adjustment is made manually via a dial on the head.
Advantages:
Flexibility in water treatment according to requirements
Easy handling thanks to clear scale
Compatible with various cartridge sizes
Space-saving and robust design
