BWT Bestiron XL against iron

Function and purpose

Removal of iron from drinking water: The cartridge is specially designed to reduce high iron levels in water (e.g., down to approx. 1 ppm) through a multi-stage filtration process.

Taste improvement: Iron often causes a metallic taste – the Bestiron ensures clean, neutral-tasting water.

Activated carbon fleece: Additionally removes chlorine and organic impurities.

Material: Innovative filter material based on modified synthetic fibers and activated carbon

Capacity: up to approx. 10,000 liters of water (measured at 1 ppm iron content)

Installation position: Vertical installation. Ideal in combination with a BWT water meter – for measurement and timely filter changes.

Temperature range: Approved from approx. 3 °C to 30 °C

Recommended replacement cycle: After reaching capacity or at the latest after 6 months.
